        Well it's because the game wasn't as great as the video was showing. It is like the buzz when Guildwars 2 came out... Everyone crowds... They treat it as a replacement of another.

        Also the replay value of the current game is quite low, at least in my view, as you can build a few different castles, but that is about all you can really do (well, and the debug mode)

      SO CLOSE! Almost beat FTL with engi ship but in round one my boarders got killed when ship died (forgot to get them out -_-). Then I died r3

        :p I had 2 (lvl 1 and lvl 2) defense drones and lvl 4 shields, so I was fairly well protected. My weapons weren't getting through (2 heavy laser lvl1 and the starting EMP which is so fast and good). I used a boarding team of 2 to take out each weapon in turn, then used them inside the ship. Killed all crew but forgot to evac them before the ship got toasted -_- so stupid

        I was surprised that i only had 1 level 1 defence drone and lvl 3 shields and survived with ease. I tried to avoid using teleporters since they were problematic if i sent them like you did.

        Sorry for your loss.

        And I dunno, I've had the most success with them, plus you get more rewards when you board and kill the crew of a ship compared to just blowing it up in the pre-boss stages. But yeah i got to the boss 2-3 more times yesterday but its always that I do something stupid like **** up my boarders (just make stupid, avoidable mistakes)

      Inferndragon - I have played about 2-3 hrs so far and boss once, i was woefully unready :/ and already damaged too :/ but FTL is soooo good!
