3D Modelling

Hello, the Castle Story kickstarter video inspired me to do some 3D modelling in Blender.

(I replaced the low quality background with proper grass and made torches brighter. When I watched the kickstarted video second time, I noticed that the castles are actually lit by small yellow crystals, not torches, I'll have to fix that later )

That looks spot on, I am rather jealous. If you are taking requests, I would love to see your take on a battle scene.

I made this one with larger resolution (1600x900 pixels). Rendering time was about 4 hours.

I love that! Definitely a new background for me, they should really showcase your fanart on the homepage!

I maqq, i was wondering if you can send me the .blend file of only the bricktons mesh and rig.
I would like to do some screen shot renders and some quick animations with them.

xinode: I'll send the .blend soon. The current rig is quite horrible and probably not suitable for animation (bad weight paint and no inverse kinematics). I'll let you know if I improve it in the future.
