Maybe not for the prototype, but I am definitely sure we will see one for the beta.

The forum is very pretty, excellent job on the theme. The forum is good for the most part but I am going to suggest you add another section.

Currently there is no place for users to post news about the game that is factual and confirmed other than "Castle Story Discussion" which is full of randomness.

The "Dev News & FAQ" section is only for admins to post in. I believe we need a forum section separate from the discussion section to post news about the game so that it is more visible and easier to find.

Agreed... However, A wiki is a reference guide of sorts. People don't normally check a wiki daily for news and updates. However people do monitor forums regularly for news and updates.

Also...

This section really needs to be open as soon as the prototype hits the floor so that bugs can be compiled into a neat list and edited by more than one person (as opposed to only the forum OP in the inevitable big bug thread). A huge reason for Sauropod releasing the game before it is finished is to crowd source bug testing. As an example Minecraft devs make use of the bug thread on the minecraft wiki constantly to find out what needs fixing.

How about making a thread about this, and make it a sticky, that way it's always on top.

It is impossible to hold a discussion in a thread like that. So many people talking about so many different topics.

I would really like to see a separate section for polls that the devs want to learn more about or are considering. There are so many good ideas and suggestions on the forums that get lost or just do not get found. There are also many polls that i sure the devs have looked at and considered or even implemented in some way. I think there should be a new forum section that only staff can create where they just copy a poll that they are interested in and want the whole community's input, not just 20-40 people before the thread gets lost. This way the staff can reword a poll exactly how they want it if it is not already the way they want it and they can get the whole community's thoughts. This would also allow the staff to post their own polls and they will get a lot of attention. There would be one spot that people can go and give there information and it will not get lost, plus the devs have a very specific place to look and post for community input.

If this post does not make sense or is not clear please just ask because i did have a hard time finding a way to explain it.

I have a question and/or suggestion... Is there a way to view all Dev posts in one place? I've seen this on other forums and thought it was a good idea. That way people that just want real, and important, info can get it quickly without having to search all over in different threads.

That has the Dev diaries, yes, but it's not a collection of all the posts from all Devs, is it? The ones I've seen before in other places are a section with all Dev posts collected in one place.

It would be nice to see a new section, and new dev polls!

lol Sorry, I didn't realize you were asking more than one question. So yeah, like Recent-Activity but with only Dev posts/activity in there.
