Hmm, Terraria thread...planning to TAKE OVER THE FORUMS! I will see your Terraria thread, and raise you a Minecraft thread.

As many of you already know, Minecraft is a game about building things, blowing said things up, playing with friends, more buildings, more explosions, exploring, experimenting, and using your imagination. It also has an extremely large, and driven, modding community.

I can assume that this is the "Official" Minecraft thread. Feel free to discuss any points about the game, post pictures of your creations, or other peoples' creations that are interesting, or just use this thread to talk to other Minecraft lovers such as yourself!

Oh, and also, I noticed that many of you are from the Terraria Online Forum, I'm from the Minecraft Forum, and this means war!

War? Alright. I will try to do something productive here before my army of hackers start destroying you city with their concentrated nuclear DdOS attacks.
I think Minecraft is still one of the games on which I passed the most time on, with over 500 hours. I have constructed countless cobblestone phallus's, and trolled countless friends houses. MC will always have a special place in my gaming cortex.

Cobblestone phallus's (phallusi?) amen to those . Though I'll say, I prefer to take the sophisticated route and experiment with redstone circuitry.

Anyway, nuclear DDoS attacks? I'm immune! (but seriously, you can't DDoS a person) I'll return by sending in my team of hackssassins!

The most refined thing I created with redstone was an automatic two-sides two-ways pressure plate door, and the ringing melody with it... I think that's it Howerver, I must say I did some pretty acceptable constructions along the way.

Also, your hack assassins can't do anything agains't my TNT blocks OP griefing, MUAHAHA!

ah, little do you know that I encourage blowing stuff up with TNT!

I've made a fair number of things with redstone, but I'm particularly fond of my secret door concept. It is completely indistinguishable from the wall, and at a flip of a lever, it retracts back into the wall, and then into the sides of the wall.

By the sounds of it, I'd say you're whether using pistons, or mods... That must sure be useful in a PvP survival hardcore server. Illuminate me!

I used sticky pistons, I can't really explain in much better. I don't have any screenshots. I'll build it again and then post the results!

Edit: I took a quick video. I built this in around ten minutes from memory, so it has some flaws, but those are easily fixed.

Since I got my new laptop I started playing more (because it took 100% CPU from my old laptop, I didn't play all the time). And I must say that I suck at redstone, I don't understand it at all. I can't even manage a properly working iron door with 2 levers.
But I love building stuff so I won't stop playing xD

I've been killing time on a faction PvP server hosted by a friend of mine.
The cost of TnT to blow holes in buildings = massive .-.
What's the lightest, yet most efficient mob farm any of you has ever used? If you post Kiershar's I will strange you with your own intestines.

On another note, bragging. So far I've managed to single-handedly take down 3 factions, in fair 3-5 v. 1 fights, the one being me.
Potions, Fire Aspect and Knockback enchantments are godsends @_@

Starting getting back into Minecraft since I got a new laptop a week ago, and it's still fun to play. Hard to find a decent server to play on though without coming across annoying griefers or troublesome little brats.

Same here. For some reason, I had practically no trouble finding nice servers with Terraria.

I'd say my biggest achievement on Minecraft was when I made an adventure map, receiving 7000+ downloads.

i got the game yesterday and its the one of best game i seen in a long time.

i like redstone i'd say i am advanced but not super advanced. for example i cant do i calculator. actually i just got an idea for a calculator using sand.. DONT YOU STEAL MY IDEA... (watching you...)

They already made a Minecraft Calculator (and funcional)!

I play minecraft abit when i am ultimately bored I'll put some screen shots of what i built :3
Note: Used Biomepainter mod to make the map look nicer with an ok texture pack.

I miss minecraft, but I honestly can't even play it anymore. Too many hours logged and it just numbs my mind to even load it up now
