    Now that the Kickstarter is over, activity has jumped and i'm betting you're all anxious to get your game...
    and it's not here yet

    So before you go "OMG OMG OMG Wher iz my gaem"
    or, before you go "OMG OMG OMG wai didn't i get <item> yet"
    Read up on it a little here first.

    For people to are wondering about their email:
    There are 27,060 pledges in the KickStarter alone, not including paypal
    That's a lot of stuff to work through, i suggest you wait it out before getting up in arms about it
    It will show up, just not right this second.

    For people who are wondering where the prototype is:
    Calm down, the 2nd dev diary expressed that the game would not be out till September, and at the latest, October.

    I'm sorry you don't have it right now, but it's also a lot of work to get done and dealt with.

    But i do not want it to be about the other covered subjects here in this post, i will be having this post moderated.
    Same goes for the rest of the forum, i know you dont like that it's a bit slow, but we dont need to flood over this issue

    On another note: Cant wait for the game to get here

    Are you so sure? I mean the confirmation KickStarter and Paypal payment ones are, but I'm not so sure that Sauropod Studio has that going, and if they're going to, not yet.

    All in good time, we have to remember that this is their first showing of this product as well; it has to be solid. Many opinions will be formed based on how the prototype is, no matter that it is labeled a prototype. We all want Castle Story to do well, so it needs to be not rushed.

    Me too. Also, sending 27.000-30.000 e-mails by hand sounds next to impossible... Yes I'm aware you can send a mail to several people at once, but a couple dozen and a couple dozen thousands are different things...

    Kickstater has a place for the starters (in this case, SauropodStudio), to send a survey out to all backers with info such as Name, address, shirt size, etc.

    Even a bot can take a while to send 27k emails however... :)

    Either way all this will take quite some time before it's resolved, just stay put and wait it out, it will come around eventually.

    I believe they mentioned in one of the updates (5?) that the names of the KS and paypal pledges would be added to their mailing list that would provide period news updates as well as all the information regarding the release of the prototype, beta, and how to access them when they are available.

    EDIT: Yep #5: "How will you get my info and how will you send me the game?
    If you are a backer (either by Kickstarter or by Paypal), you are signed up to our newsletter with the email account you used to sign up. You will be getting frequent updates, either official news or dev diaries. We will then contact you with a form in the coming weeks to ask you a bunch of questions: What sort of t-shirt would you like, what name would you like us to feature in the credit island, etc. "

    Even if they have to send e-mails manually it won't be so bad, and it won't take very long either. They only have 13 different groups (according to the # of pledge tiers) to send specific e-mails to.What will take a while is making sure that all is sorted before the start. Then it would take maybe an afternoon to hit everybody up with e-mail.

    I sort of thought that what would be released in october would be the beta, not the prototype, dang this is going to take alot of patience I dont have.

    Please keep posting dev diaries, don't just forget about them.

    Yeah it's hit the same level as Starbound, Firefall, Torchlight 2 etc for me. "ZOMG It's gonna be sooooo friggin awesome! =D Awwwww it's not out till when? :: Cries and waits patiently while twiddling thumbs in boredom.:: " But! IT should be good at least so I don't mind. :)
