    We all know this game is still far in development, but we all know that it's going to be an awesome game.
    Personally, you should all be happy it's going to have a playable game so soon after the Kickstarter, some games don't give out the playable result for months, sometimes a year because they're just starting work, it's just an idea. CastleStory was far along the lines before the KIckstarter began...
    Regardless, it's well worth the wait.

    I gotta admit though, when I backed the Kickstarter campaign, I didn't go reading through all the updates first. I read the details of all the pledge levels and made my decision from there like anyone else would. It wasn't until afterwards that I started to look into all the "regulars" telling people that the Prototype would be out October at the latest. Don't get me wrong, October is still great timing compared to other Kickstarter games but I guess what I'm really getting at is that you can't be hard on everyone asking about the prototype.

    I guess the first thing I learned about Kickstarter now is to read the updates first :)
    Still hyped for Castle Story to come out!

    I don't know why anyone would put money on anything before reading everything. I read every detail before pledging and I read every update as they arrived. On top of that there was 30 days or however many between the pledge and the end to read everything and pull the pledge if you disagreed with the changes they announced in the second update. Maybe I should start selling some swampland in Florida...

    I asked Sauropod on Twitter when will the prototype be available. They said it'll be "No later than 2nd week of October."

    Or you could have searched the forums, or their website... I know i have personally answered that question in at least 3 or 4 threads now...

    Every message they have to answer on that topic is another 30 seconds they arent working on getting us the prototype sooner >.>
