What about this game excited you the most?

    Honestly, I just would like to know what drives each of your interests in this game.

    Personally, I enjoy how it combines aspects from several games I've loved in the past.

    1. I have always had a love of RTS. The small bits I have disliked are the limited customization offered in construction, and that is repaired here.

    2. The visual style of this game. I like the "innocent" look of the game. One of my favorite time wasters was a game called Multiwinia and its predecessor Darwinia. If any of you remember these games, then you are forced to post here.

    3. The resource management. This is one mechanic I feel is missed in most games of recent creation. Too often I feel like having your minions pile resources into one building and the only reward is a number increasing is missing the point. The stockpile system where you have limited space and a visual representation of your progress is rewarding. I hope that managing this is vital to the siege aspect of the game play.

    4. Personality. The final point is the biggest. This game appears like it is focusing on an individuals ability to imagine and be creative with castle designs. I appreciate that everything you build can come from your mind. Not a set of pre-built modules for creation. My personality will always be reflected in my castles.

    the potential excites me. if it was nothing but whta we have seen sofar it would be interesting at first quickly followed by boring.
    but the stuff we havent seen is what will make this game really interesting.

    and openenden multiplayer.

    Legos. It's ****in' Legos, man. I mean heck... bricktrons are yellow, Lego men are (usually) yellow.

    The fact that it's a Lego RTS just makes it that much more kicka**.

    Inter island travel excites me bridges collapsing, airships with gaping holes, bricktrons falling into the ocean...............

    Im looking forward to building a castle that works with the terrain, and structuring a castle up naturally to be a defensive addition to the natural enviroment.

    Yes! I knew I was missing a major point! The fact I know associate this with legos and brickmen makes it all the more appealing in my eyes.

    In no set order: Adventuring, Combat, Mining, Building, Blowing stuff up, Finding my Gem!!!! :)

    Pretty much sums up all that holds my attention to CS! :)

    Everyone has pretty much said it. The building (Legos) the RTS aspects of it. The art style of it all. It is just pure unadulterated awesome in VG form

    The worker / unit management and the ability to create unique structures with them. Lets not forget it's a voxel based game that looks VERY good! I love the sandbox feel.

    RTS with custom buildings, no more cookie cutter buildings that just have a tile size and hitpoint/armor stats.

    I had a daydream about building a concentric fortress right into a mountain (similar to helm's deep) and having a dwarven skin for my bricktrons. Nice little daydream.

    I would imagine there is going to be a few pretty epic looking recreations of iconic locations. Helms deep being among many other pretty nerdy references ;)
