Will I be able to buy the Beta later?

Hi, my name is Raxe88 and I recently bought a new computer (700€) and right now I can't effort paying for the Prototype or the Beta. Will I be able to buy the game so I can play with my friends? I will feel a little abandoned If I have to wait until the game is released :(

Seriously? You don't have $15? That ******* blows. Hang in there :(!
  3. PabloSL Member

Yea you'll be able, but at a higher price I believe

It's not that I don't have them, It's that my mother is who pays online and she bought me two games before the PC. I don't want her to pay another one to not seem pampered. If I wait I can buy It but If I have to wait until the release I will rage a little.

Plus that I am from Spain, you get the point.

Sorry for the double post but can someone say something he knows for sure and I can trust about my problem?

Look, the game will be on sale after the BETA, you can get it whenever you want, but the more you wait the more you'll pay thats the only difference with paying it right now. (that, and that you'll miss the prototype and trying the game on very early stages, which is really awesome lol)

I believe the team is working on an alternative payment system, so its conceivable that even after the Kickstarter campaign, there will be new opportunities to contribute to the development process (and gain access to the beta)...

Don't double post. There's an edit button for a reason.

The devs have stated that the kickstarter benefits in the following ways.
    1) You can gain access to the prototype by pledging 25$ or more. This cannot be obtained any other way.
    2) The posters, bricktron handmade plushie, and t-shirts are also exclusive to the kickstarter.
    3) The beta can be obtained for only 15$ whereas after the kickstarter the beta can be obtained just at a higher price. In one of Thierry's post he stated it could be just 20 dollars. So if you wait it may cost you 20 or 25$.

i e-maild them about this very reason/problem (?) (without knowing of this whole forum) and they replied.

"we are working on something so you could participate to the kickstarter but without having to use a credit card. stay tuned on our updates and blog we will announce something about that next week"

so i think i can say this without having to doubt that they are awere of this and are trying to make (the best ?)solution.
i really hope that they wil make it posible for european people to buy the game (btw i'm from the netherlands) because i just dont have any acces to an credit card, we have "ideal" for that and "paysafecard"and "wally-card" ( i'm no fan of the wally card but it wil do)
and i know that a great bunch of america's and canada's website's/webstore's have at lest one of those payment methods

700€ computer? May i ask was it "Here is super fast.." Pre-made thing or picked from parts? Because your dear mother might had saved few euros if the same computer was build from separate parts + most IT companies offer that they will build computer from pieces you choose.

My god i would had laughed my ass of if he bought 900€ computer (premade) he linked to me. I chose little bit better parts of computer than the 900€ one and including new screen he wanted and the whole thing got little under 1000€.

Point is, do not ever, EVER NEVER buy pre-made computer. From a big company to be added.

While pre builts are generally the worst idea possible, there are a few sites out there that will let you build and order a pc/laptop that is actually worth the money. I understand if someone wants the convenience of a pre-built PC, but when I see the alienware logo on their new laptop/computer, it just makes me disappointed. Sites like ibuypower and cyberpowerpc can build twice the PC for the same cost, if not less.

Back on topic... Raxe88, have you considered getting a prepaid Visa/MC? A €25 prepaid card will enable you to pay for it yourself (and have enough left on the card for a soda or something too) :)

Yes, pre-paid is really the most easy route; and it always makes sure the money is still on the card unlike an accidental overdraft on your debit card.

I hope they actually add one of those, because i can't use Credit cards and im from Mexico, and as far as i know, they dont sell Visa prepaid cards here (Damn).

I checked those links, it seems like those aren't really available around, or i need to order them and need permission of my parents to do so, and they won't do it. Im 14 years old, so i can't do it myself. I just hope they add paysafecard or maybe another method that doesn't requires a real card at all like bank deposit or wallie.
